On-site steel welding inside an existing building, adding steel plates to the sides of steel columns and welding the steel beam connections beneath the floor.
Project notes
This project is on-site steel welding inside an existing building. The floors consist of green steel beams and steel deck, and workers stand on scaffolding to weld at the beam connections. Steel plates are also welded onto the sides of the steel columns, with the welds running along the edges of the column, and the existing pipes and conduits on the columns left in place. All the photos are records from during construction.
