Project notes
We fabricated and installed a curved steel staircase in a circular void inside a building. The stair uses curved steel plates as stringers and steel plates as treads, spiraling upward along the curve of the void. The floor edge at the top of the void is also finished with curved steel plate, with cantilever brackets visible along the curve. The photos show on-site welding and assembly, with ladders and scaffolding still around.
The client is a private individual and is not named for privacy reasons.
