Project notes

This project is a shop on the street, long and narrow in plan with a high ceiling. H-beam columns stand on concrete pedestals and are linked by horizontal members; the walls and roof are both covered in corrugated metal sheet, and cross tie rods run between the roof purlins. In the photos the shell has taken shape; inside, scaffolding is up and rolls of fireproof insulation in blue packaging are stacked, and workers are working at the street-side opening.
