- Yes. When the structure is exposed, the weld is the finished surface, so welding and edge finishing are held to a higher standard than in a factory. Carports, skylight canopies and sculptural roofs follow the same standard.
- Can a townhouse in the city be built in steel?
- Yes. For a four-story street-front house in Changhua City (2025), the ground floor was an operating shop, three sides were tight against neighboring buildings, and the front opened straight onto the sidewalk with no laydown space.
