Project notes
The photos for this project show the site at the column stage. The open ground is surrounded by old red-brick houses and metal-clad factory buildings. Fine string lines for setting out are stretched across the ground, rows of round tube columns stand along them, and patched ground can be seen around the column bases. On another roadside lot, long steel members are propped up on angled legs and lined up along the road.
