Fuxing Factory
A construction record of a factory, from site grading and grade beam rebar tying to steel frame erection. The steel frame has floor beams at mid-height.
Project notes
A factory project carried out in 2018, photographed from site grading onward. After grading, trenches were excavated and the rebar for the grade beams and column positions was tied, with the trench sides held by timber formwork and timber; a concrete mixer truck and pump truck arrived on site. The main structure is a steel frame with floor beams at mid-height and bracing in places. Members were lifted into place with a crane on site, and steel waiting to be lifted was stacked on the ground.
