The same client's second project: the tree canopy was about form, this building is the main structure. The two posed completely different challenges.
Technical highlights
- Same site as the tree canopy — The sculptural round-tube tree canopy (see the separate project) and this building share the same client and the same site, and were built around 2013 to 2014.

The main building at Quanguo Liyuan, built around 2013, with a steel frame combined with fair-faced concrete.
The same site also has a sculptural round-tube tree canopy, where the difficulty lay in laying out the form. This building is the main structure, and the methods for the two are entirely different things.
